09/05/ · When I try to start up warband on steam, the window saying "preparing to launch mount and blade: warband" appears for second or two, then simply closes without starting the game. If anyone can give me a fix for this problem it would be great. (I have re-installed it and done a few other steps to try and fix it, nothing has worked, thanks).

Wound up deleting everything, unsub'd all workshop mods only diplomacydelete the my documents files, delete the appdata roaming profile config, even went so far as to delete every relevent registry entry with warband in it. The desert shine really gives off the atmosphere of how hot it actually is there. When you look at the sun the screen becomes dark.
